Apply any active segment to your Payment Recovery dashboard to filter dunning analytics down to a specific subscriber group. See exactly how different customer cohorts behave when it comes to billing recovery — without leaving the dashboard.


Click-to-Send Suggested Questions to Staylien

New feature · Unique to Stay

Staylien now surfaces three suggested questions you can send with a single click — drawn from the most common questions merchants ask about churn and revenue trends. Use them as a starting point to explore your subscription program, or as a guide to understanding how to frame questions for Staylien.


Cancel Survey — A/B Testing

New feature · Unique to Stay

Run A/B tests directly inside the Cancel Survey to find out which save experiences drive the best outcomes. Split traffic by percentage to compare different offers, messaging, or confirmation screens — then measure performance to learn what resonates most with subscribers at the moment they're considering cancellation.


Expanded Capabilities for Staylien

New feature · Unique to Stay

Staylien can now answer multi-dimensional questions that require pulling from multiple analytics sources at once. Ask a comparison question like "How does my subscriber churn trend compare to my recurring revenue trend over the past 6 months?" and get a single response with insights on how the two trends relate — rather than running them as separate queries.


Customer Portal V3 — Bundle Support

Merchants using bundles can now enable full bundle management in Customer Portal V3 — giving subscribers the ability to edit, add, and swap bundle products directly from their portal experience.


Customer Portal V3 — Card Styles

New feature · Unique to Stay

Card Styles brings advanced, no-code customization to your portal. Create and apply multiple themes across portal components — including buttons and hover states — to match your brand without writing a line of code.


Cancel Survey — Templates

New feature · Unique to Stay

Pre-built templates in the Cancel Survey Builder let you get a fully configured survey live faster — no starting from scratch. Use a template as-is or customize it to fit your brand and retention strategy.


Buy Box Event Tracking

New feature

Stay AI now tracks subscription buy box interactions on your Shopify store product pages — capturing purchase option selection (one-time vs. subscription), frequency selection, add-to-cart, and checkout events. New installations begin tracking automatically; existing merchants will receive the pixel update in a rolling rollout. Analytics built on this data are available later this month.


Dunning Final Attempt Discount

New feature

Configure a discount to apply automatically before the final dunning billing attempt — a last-chance incentive to recover a subscription before it cancels. You define the discount name and percentage value. If a subscriber re-enters dunning later, they are not eligible to receive the discount again.


Cancel Survey — Export Cancel Survey Results

New feature

Export all Cancel Survey attempts for offline analysis and reporting. The export includes every submission — including free-text "Other" responses — giving you a complete view of how subscribers are engaging with your cancellation flow.


Buy Box Event Tracking Analytics

New feature

The Buy Box Interactions metrics table is now live on the Summary dashboard — showing 9 metrics on how users interact with Stay buy boxes on your product pages, including add-to-cart clicks and rates, order counts, and conversion rates. The full export includes detailed event data with platform and campaign attribution.


Improvements

Cancel Survey — Navigation Updates

Improvement · Unique to Stay

You can now return directly to the parent page from General Settings within the Cancel Survey, reducing the clicks required to move between sections while managing your cancellation experience.


Cancel Survey — Performance Button on List Page

Improvement · Unique to Stay

A new Performance button on the Cancel Survey list page lets you jump directly into in-flow analytics without navigating through the full survey — faster access to the data you check most.


Faster Load Times on Payment Recovery Dashboard

Improvement

The Payment Recovery dashboard now loads faster and displays data in Eastern Standard Time. Exports complete in seconds.


Cancel Survey — Discount & Gift Stacking Controls

Improvement

You can now control how frequently subscribers receive promotional incentives in the Cancel Survey based on how recently they last received one. By default, incentives are limited to one discount or gift every 60 days — adjustable to fit your retention and promotional cadence.


Updated UI and Faster Load Times on Subscriptions Page

Improvement

The Subscriptions page has a refreshed look and feel. Filters are now accessible in the top right corner, and the page loads 4.2x faster — saving time when searching and filtering across subscriptions.


Get It Now Order Tags

Improvement

Shopify orders created through Get It Now are now automatically tagged "Get It Now" for easier filtering and reporting.


3DS Challenged Filter

Improvement

You can now filter subscribers by "Billing Status is 3DS Challenge" on the Subscriptions page to identify customers who received a 3DS authentication request on their last billing attempt but haven't yet responded.


3D-Secure (3DS) Challenge Flow

Improvement

Stay AI now detects and handles 3DS payment authentication challenges automatically. When a billing attempt triggers 3DS verification, the subscriber receives an authentication email from Shopify; Stay AI tracks the response and updates the subscription accordingly — no manual intervention required. Toggle to Hide $0 Products on Product Performance Dashboard

Improvement

A new toggle on the Product Performance dashboard lets you exclude $0 products with no orders from the table view, filtering out inactive products so you can focus on what's actually generating revenue.


Fixes

Open API — Min/Max Query Parameter Fix

Fix

Previously, Open API date-range queries required both a minimum and maximum value to function. You can now filter by minimum or maximum alone — ?createdAtMin= or ?createdAtMax= — without the other being required.
