Navigating Your Welcome Dashboard

A guide to the Welcome Dashboard—your at-a-glance view of revenue, subscriber health, top products, and the latest feature releases.

Written by Ashley Kim

The Welcome Dashboard is the home base for your Stay subscription program. Every time you open Stay, you land here for an at-a-glance view of your revenue, subscriber health, top products, and the latest feature releases.

1. Staylien: Your Subscription Analyst

The Staylien widget greets you by name and gives you a direct line to Stay's AI assistant. Use it to ask questions about your subscription analytics or get guidance on any Stay feature. To start a conversation with Staylien:

  1. Type your question into the How can I help you? input field.

  2. Click Send (or press Enter).

  3. You'll be taken to the Staylien page, where your question has been submitted and a response is generating.

📌 Note: The input field clears automatically after you send a message. If you want to reference what you asked, check the Staylien page directly.

2. Revenue in the Last 30 Days

The revenue chart gives you a daily breakdown of subscription revenue for the past 30 calendar days. Each bar is split into three revenue types. Hover over each bar for a per-day breakdown by revenue type:

  • Checkout Revenue (pink) — revenue from new subscription checkouts

  • Recurring Revenue (purple) — revenue from recurring subscription charges

  • Add-On Revenue (orange) — revenue from add-on purchases

The total for the 30-day period appears above the chart, along with a trend indicator comparing this period to the prior 30 days. A green arrow means revenue is up; a red arrow means it's down.

To see your full revenue history and deeper analytics, click View Full Chart in the top right of the chart panel—this takes you to Analytics > Summary.

3. KPI Stat Cards

Four cards give you a snapshot of your program's current health:

  • Active Subscriptions — total number of active subscriptions right now

  • Active Subscribers — total number of unique subscribers

  • Revenue Yesterday — total subscription revenue from the previous day

  • Orders Yesterday — total subscription orders from the previous day

Each card also shows a trend percentage vs. the equivalent prior period — green for improvement, red for a decline.

4. Stay Up to Date with New Releases

The Stay Up to Date with New Releases section surfaces the latest feature releases from the Stay team. Each card includes:

  • A preview image of the feature

  • Category tags (e.g., Subscription Management, Measure Success, Boost AOV)

  • A title and short description of the feature

  • A Learn More link that takes you to help documentation for the feature

  • A CTA button that takes you directly to the feature in the Stay app

To browse all past releases, click View All Releases in the top right of the section.

5. Top 3 Products by Revenue

The Top 3 Products widget shows which products drove the most subscription revenue in the last 30 days. Each row displays:

  • Product image thumbnail

  • Product name and variant (e.g., color, size, pack)

  • Total revenue for the last 30 days, formatted as a currency value

  • A trend indicator showing revenue change vs. the prior 30-day period

To see performance across your full product catalog, click View Full Report—this takes you to Analytics > Product Performance.
