The Bulk Updater History page is your central log for all jobs created through the new Bulk Updater on the Subscriptions page. From here, you can track job status, manage in-progress jobs, and download pre- and post-update CSVs for any job in your history.
1. Navigate to Bulk Updater History
To access the Bulk Updater History page, navigate to Subscription Data > Bulk Updater History in the Stay Merchant Portal.
The page will display a list of all Bulk Updater jobs, with the most recent jobs at the top.
📌 Note: The Bulk Updater History page only logs jobs created through the new Bulk Updater flow on the Subscriptions page. Jobs created through the legacy Bulk Updater are tracked separately on the legacy tool's history page. The Legacy Bulk History button at the top of the Bulk Updater History page can take you directly there.
2. Review Job Details
Each job in the history list shows the following details:
Date — when the job was created
Actions — the bulk action(s) included in the job
Subscriptions Affected — the number of subscriptions the job ran against
User — the email address of the user who created the job
Status — the current or final state of the job
Job statuses you may see:
Queued — The job is waiting to be processed.
Running — The job is actively being applied to subscriptions.
Paused — The job has been manually paused.
Cancelled — The job has been manually cancelled.
Complete — All actions have been applied successfully.
Failed — Something went wrong during the job. This could be a timeout, a connection issue, or a problem generating the Post-Update CSV.
The job details on the history page will show how far the job got before it failed. Any changes that were applied before the failure will remain in place.
📌 Note: If you run into a failed job, reach out to your CSM and we'll help sort it out.
3. Manage an In-Progress Job
For any job currently in a Queued, Running, or Paused state, you can take the following actions directly from the history page. To manage the job:
Click the arrow to the left of the job's row to expand it.
Select one of the following actions available for the job:
Pause — Temporarily stops the job. It can be resumed.
Resume — Restarts a paused job where it left off.
Cancel — Stops the job permanently.
⚠️ Warning: Cancelling a job does not reverse actions that have already been applied. If you need to revert changes, use the Pre-Update CSV as your reference.
4. Download Pre- and Post-Update CSVs
Each job has two CSV files available for download once the job has run:
Pre-Update CSV — a snapshot of the targeted subscriptions before any changes were made
This file is generated at the time you confirm the job before running it and is available for download even if the job was cancelled or failed.
Post-Update CSV — a record of the subscription data after the job completed either fully or partially
This file is available once the job reaches Complete status. The CSV will also generate for Cancelled or Failed statuses, if the job was partially completed.
To download either CSV:
Locate the job in the history list.
Click the Download CSV button on the right end of the job's row.
Click the CSV you'd like downloaded—Pre-Update CSV or Post-Update CSV. The CSV will download directly into your device's download folder.
💡 Tip: Comparing the Pre- and Post-Update CSVs lets you verify exactly what changed and identify any subscriptions that may need follow-up.
